Gogo was The Inflight Internet Company*—a global leader in aviation connectivity and entertainment For most of its history, Gogo marketed to airline passengers. I joined the company to help reposition the Gogo brand to reach decision makers at commercial airlines.
*Gogo Commercial Aviation was acquired by Intelsat in 2021. My company stock wasn’t enough to let me retire.

Tradeshow/Environmental
Messaging for the AIX industry tradeshow included creation of the exhibit, three portfolio-based videos (green screens), event emails and on-site collateral.
Social media
To generate interest and booth visits, we developed a social media campaign on Facebook and LinkedIn. Geo-fencing delivered targeted messages to attendees as they landed in Hamburg, attended the show and departed for home.
Internal branding
To help Gogo employees quickly and succinctly deliver the company’s value prop, we created a short video to excite, inspire and unify everyone around “The Inflight Internet Company.’
Content marketing
I spearheaded creation of the #1 most-requested thought leadership piece in the company’s history: a robust research overview of global air travel technology preferences. Working with our insights team, we drove a 300% increase in downloads from the original forecast.
