BEMIS Packaging
Bemis (now Amcor) is a global leader in flexible and rigid packaging. The company creates everything from snack films to standup pouches to foil lidding for yogurts and cream cheese. While the Bemis brand was well known in its category, it faced steep competition from smaller manufacturers who had commoditized the industry.
To fight back, my team worked to disrupt every industry convention: No pictures of packaging. No retail store settings. No clichéd buzzwords. Instead, we created a powerful, aspirational brand focused on ideas, insights and seizing the future for CPG decision makers. All tied back to our tagline, "A better way."
In its first year, the campaign was awarded Best Integrated Program at the Milwaukee BMA Bell Awards.
In 2019, Bemis was acquired by Amcor plc, a U.K.-based packaging company, in a $6.8 billion transaction.
